Phil suggested to check out the exhibition of Da Vinci, The Genius. It highlights were "Mona Lisa Secrets Revealed", "Vitruvian Man", "Anatomical Studies", "The Codices" and "Father Of Flight". The inspirational works of Leornardo da Vinci-inventor, scientist, anatomist, engineer, artist and architect. Just when was your last visit to Science Centre? As for me, it was at least 13years ago!

Upon reaching the bus stop, I was all so excited! Cos I saw MacDonald's! Phil and I made our way to the crowded fast food outlet. Having paid for our value meals, we struggled to locate empty seats as there were so many of them being chopped. I used to think that the typical Singaporean ways of reserving seats using umbrella or tissue packs are oh so not gracious. Until i came to this outlet where parents effortlessly got their tots to chop seats while they queue, I was thinking it helps bringing tots around, provided they can sit proper and not fight among themselves over toys. While enjoying my brunch, I continued to observe the madness of families and even more children coming in. I even realised the cashier over charged us and Phil got back $3.55 before we left the family-oriented business.

We decided to get admission tickets for Science Centre, The Genius and Sea Monsters,an IMAX Movie. I enjoyed the prehistoric adventure which the movie recreates a vision of history's grandest ocean and follows the life of a family of long-snout Dolichorhynchops. Along the way, they came face to face with wondrous beasts. The travel back in time to the Cretaceous period, 82 million years ago introduces us to amazing paleontological digs around the globe to uncover the science behind the unexplored world of "other dinosaurs".

Phil wanted to try the egg milk curd from Rock Cafe. He was given the almond flavoured instead and I complained even when my man tried to convince me that he was enjoying the wrong order. The staff gave us a free replacement and happy Phil had two servings for the price of one.

Hero Wong

I'm having my luxurious break from work. Looking forward to the next one in Nov! I really miss getting out of Singapore and being touristy. Oh well, will do that some other time. Brought family to Swenson's for Fathers' Day celebration. I suppose nothing beats spending quality time with our love ones. It was ages ago Papa held my hand and I happily ate the ice-cream he got for us. Back then, as Papa's lil girl, I have yet to befriend ice-cream from Swenson's, Anderson's, Ben & Jerry's and Haagen Dazs. The melting not-so-frozen happy treats were from the provision shop which cost less than $2 and he never fails to put smiles on my face. Now, should ice-cream I ordered come in almost melting, your truly, who fell in love with giving feedback will definitely complain with pleasure!

what's my age again?

Ahh.. I'm 26 for the last hour. It seemed just so recent that I celebrated my birthday in Bangkok, Dreamworld with Light Angel. The year really flew by and I'll be 27 in minutes. I filled a form just now. There were boxes to tick my age group; 21-26 and 27-32. I ticked the first. At present time, I AM 26! hahaha now blogging about this makes me feel childish. Then again it's a normal denial. Weeds shared she'd to count her age too. We'd so much fun catching up over the amazing pot luck session. I don't know how tmw will turn out to be. May I just hope for no overtime? All I wanna do on my birthday, is to be truly happy. Blow my candles and be with that special one I really love.

PS: Dearest Hiddy, enjoy your birthday tmw too!
