their send off

up at 5.30am this morning to get ready to head to Uncle's place early. He and his wife are leaving us to perform Haj. It had been an emotional Sunday. For Mama, especially. Uncle has been seeking forgiveness from her. He has always been my joker uncle who never fails to crack us up with jokes, lame ones included. Yesterday while in school, they had a gathering at his place. I was told he shared the truth about how much Mama sacrificed for family and his regret. This morning he spoke to his beloved nieces and nephews again, reminding us to perform our prayers, be filial to parents and how bad he was before which he is very thankful that Allah has given him a chance to repent and God's willing, he'd be back again to talk to us. Everyone were in tears. We took a few pictures. I shall upload one.





The airport was pretty crowded. Since this is the first batch, there were reporters and photographers. At this very moment, my two proud sisters are freaking happy THEY ARE ON TV! hahaha ok la me included was there...... in my tudung,so chances are hardly anyone'd know it's me lol so hell.. My eyes were puffy. Lucky it's just a quick snapshot in the news. Saw a clear one on my Uncle. I miss him already. Though we seldom meet, he is after all Mama's only brother. Insyallah Mak Esah and Bapak Enal dapat menunaikan ibadah Haji mereka dengan sempurna. Amin.

toddler niche

The upgrading works proved to be too dusty for me to stay home. Decided to have a study date at the library. Don't we look so adorably too big for the toddler niche section? Back at home, in the evening i kept sneezing. Phil calls it an earthquake. I've a sensitive nose. True enough by nightfall, i declare myself losing the battle with the flu bug. I'm on mc again. Not that i enjoy being absent from my usual routine, i do really need a break from stress.

Work is getting stressful cos my colleagues showed extreme reluctance to do overtime on Wednesdays. That'd mean i have to miss class again. I'm also teaching a recruit. She is like a kanchong spider. Stressful when she screamed Yann...
I don't know how else to remind her to keep the volume down. She dressed inappropriately for work. we either see her in micro minis or tops which invites disgusting peeps to her cleavage and also disapproving looks from public. When she texts me, i get every sentence ending with an exclamation mark! She has been trained under me for about a month now. Fast worker indeed. She is really petite and once a customer asks if i'm baby sitting my sister. Don't be fooled by that tiny frame, this chilli padi is a mother of one adorable baby girl and independent wife whose hubby is out-stationed. She by the way, is as old as yours truly. perhaps having another extra responsibility puts me in a stressed working environment.

School has been more like having fun every lesson. I look forward to gaining knowledge. Nevertheless, exams which are right up in 5 weeks and project deadlines never fails to scare the hell outta my wits, if i'd any. I realised i lost the drive to achieve good grades. I became my-very-own average student.

Home, my only shelter from the madness of reality. The recession made me think twice about getting a new job. Though i always grumbled that i'm like a monkey, paid only peanuts.. but hey the money i receive monthly paid all the bills and i'm usually contented it served me well to the next pay check. Ironically, why am i pushing myself away from this job? Does the duration of being too long in this company put me off?

Dear yann, stop giving self the unnecessary pressure. Everything will be fine cos they usually do with the help of ALLAH. Life is beautiful. I want to fall in love with the challenges and manage the stress with love.

Spainish in his sweater

Popeye's for dinner last night with Phil at Changi Airport. I preferred the chicken compared to KFC. Less sinful cos the meal seem less fattening. It doesn't end there. Bf decided we'd try the more sinful cakes from Fish & co. For drinks, we tried Mermaid Freeze this time around. We had Sharkie Freeze the other time. Phil is usually obliging when it comes to cam-whoring.

I'm on medical leave and enjoying the luxury of having the ability to study for my Accounts test this Sat. We got the results for my previous paper which i did well. The lecturer advised that this semester test will NOT be as easy as the first paper which was meant to allow us to score!?

I'm trying to cope with the madness of meeting deadlines. Projects are fun if only everyone plays their part and we are working as a team. Hopefully things will woke out just fine. I really do not wish to retake any paper. I'm creating a website with my two partners-in-crime. We are known as SHE in my class. =p
